uPVC Windows, Doors & Conservatories

the company

Hi-Seal have been supplying new-build and replacement uPVC windows, doors and conservatories to the trade in the East Sussex and Kent areas from its base in Hailsham for 16 years.

Founder Peter Ridge has driven the success of the company with the assistance of Graham Viles, whom he added to the team as manager after four years. They have a combined industry experience of over 60 years.

Peter’s son Darren oversees the company factory and is also a director in this caring family business.

the products

Given a long-standing and exclusive relationship, Hi-Seal only use profile, (purpose moulded uPVC), from the ‘Shield’ range of products supplied by market leader Synseal to build the frames for their new-fit and replacement double glazing, doors and conservatories. These frames hold high quality sealed glass units and door panels assembled on site.

Many producers of windows, door and conservatory products purchase similar, but not identical, profile from a range of suppliers, often to minimise costs. Predictably, this comes at the expense of quality.

The biggest drawback is that the colour of the finish of double-glazing, doors and conservatories built by a company using a varying supply chain may not be consistent, particularly if they are ordered at different times.

Exclusively using profile from the ‘Shield 70mm System’ not only avoids this possibility, but also makes the conservatories Hi-Seal manufacture easy to assemble. The range uniquely includes roofing products designed to fit frames built using its profile.

the process

Window, door and conservatory trade quote requests can be submitted either via phone, (01323 841392), or using the forms in the ‘quote’ section of this site. A response can typically be expected within the working day.

On average, following acceptance of a quote, Hi-Seal aim to have a product manufactured and delivered in the East Sussex and Kent areas within ten working days. Customers are asked to raise more urgent, and any special, requirements at the earliest opportunity. There is a section for this in the on-line quote request form. All manufacturing takes place at a dedicated facility in Hailsham.

the support

Hi-Seal offers a trade guarantee of ten-years on all uPVC products and five-years on all sealed units. Given that a third party supplies them, fittings such as handles and hinges are guaranteed for one year.

This guarantee does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer. The goods we supply must match the description given, be of satisfactory quality and be fit for the purpose. Work should be carried out to a reasonable standard. You should contact your local Trading Standards Service or Citizens Advice Bureau if you need any more information about your statutory rights.

Hi-Seal will not guarantee products that fall outside of recommended size criteria. Guarantees are not valid unless payment has been received in full and are non-transferable. All claims are to be made by the purchaser only. Third party claims will not be met.
